Our 100% Natural African Black Soap is produced in Ghana via traditional methods using a recipe passed down through the generations. It is a rich and moisturising multi-purpose cleansing bar bursting with a plethora of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that not only cleanse and rejuvenate your face, body and hair but also help restore balance and thoroughly moisturise. It leaves skin smooth and soft making it ideal to use on sensitive, oily, dry and problematic skin. 

How Does It Work?

SKINCARE

African Black Soap is good for thinning fine lines, evening out dark spots, eczema, razor bumps and eliminating blemishes. The soap can be used on your body or hair and works for skin rashes, scalp irritations, body odours and is good for sensitive skin. It is also used to lightly exfoliate and give you healthier looking skin. Black soap can help balance your skin's natural oil production without stripping necessary oils or adding excess oil to your skin. African black soap may also soothe itchiness and irritation caused by eczema, contact dermatitis, and skin allergies. Black soap is rich in vitamins A and E. These vitamins are both antioxidants, which help combat free radicals and attacks on otherwise healthy skin tissues. This may be helpful for people who have inflammatory conditions like rosacea.

HAIRCARE

DWIRA African Black Soap is a great option for hair care as well. To use it on your hair, wet your hair thoroughly and lather up the soap in your hands. Apply the lather to your scalp and hair, massaging gently to create a rich lather. Allow the soap to sit on your hair for a few minutes to allow the nourishing ingredients to penetrate your hair shafts. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and repeat if necessary. This soap can be used as a gentle and effective shampoo, leaving your hair clean, soft, and shiny. It is also ideal for people with sensitive scalp or hair as it does not contain harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances that can cause irritation. Irritation happens very rarely. We suggest you do a patch test on your skin to make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. Discontinue use if you are experiencing any skin irritation.
